Manuscript Preparation Guidelines<\/strong><\/p>

  • Submitted manuscripts must be written in Turkish or English.<\/li>
  • Immediately below the article title, \u201cAbstract\u201d and \u201c\u00d6z\u201d sections of 250\u2013300 words each (in English and in Turkish) must be provided.<\/li>
  • An extended summary of at least 600 words must be provided in English for Turkish manuscripts and in Turkish for English manuscripts. The extended summary should appear at the end of the article, following the references.<\/li>
  • Five to seven keywords must be provided.<\/li>
  • Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (2007 or later).<\/li>
  • The Times New Roman font must be used throughout the manuscript.<\/li>
  • The main text must be set in 11-point font size, and footnotes in 9-point font size.<\/li>
  • For Greek texts, a Unicode font supporting polytonic Greek must be used.<\/li>
  • Fonts used for special characters, symbols, or signs within the text must be submitted at the time of application.<\/li>
  • Manual word division using hyphens (-) must not be applied within the text.<\/li>
  • Centuries must be indicated as follows: 5th<\/sup> century BC, 7th<\/sup> century AD, etc.<\/li>
  • Attention must be paid to maintaining a balanced ratio between text and visual material, and visual elements should be included only to the extent necessary to clarify the text.<\/li>
  • All visual materials must meet appropriate quality standards; for example, photographs must have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.<\/li>
  • All visual elements (photographs, tables, drawings, maps, etc.) must be designated using the abbreviation fig.<\/li>

    Citation Style<\/strong><\/p>

    • The journal follows the citation style of the German Archaeological Institute (DAI). Accordingly:<\/li>
    • Single-author or multi-author monographs should be cited in the format \u201cSurname Year, page\u201d<\/li>
    • Journal articles should be cited in the format \u201cSurname Year, page\u201d.<\/li>
    • For works with more than two authors, please use \u201c[First Author] et al.\u201d<\/li>
    • When indicating page numbers, full page ranges must be provided; abbreviations such as \u201cff.\u201d or similar forms must not be used.<\/li>
    • An en dash with spaces (\u2013) must be used between author names; a hyphen without spaces (-) must be used between multiple surnames of a single author, and also between page numbers.<\/li>
    • The spelling and citation of ancient authors and corpora will be standardized by the relevant editor.<\/li>
    • Journal titles must be written in full and italicized in the bibliography.<\/li>
    • The abbreviations to be used in footnotes and the bibliography follow the standard English abbreviations of the German Archaeological Institute (DAI):<\/li><\/ul>
